The Challenger « Read Less
I have no idea why I'm calling this "The Challenger", it just sounds really really cool. I like cool things. This gallery has a purpose, and it's purpose is for me to display to you, how my photography will inprove, and how it does. In 2012 you will see a lot of new things from me, not just the typical, but maybe interesting things as well. I want to get outside my comfort zone a little bit. There that's why I called it "The Challenger", it all makes sense now. My brain thinks before I can get the chance to process. Now let the games... BEGIN!

I thought today was the half way mark, but then I looked & it's not until next week lol. Almost there! To be honest this project isn't really hard for me. It's easy to post every week because I can remember that haha (though sometimes I have forgotten). So I bought these cookies from Wal-Mart (now there is only one) YES those are M&M's & YES it tastes amazing. My week didn't taste so amazing:
Monday: Khevin texted me & I met him at school to find out he doesn't go to my school anymore :( I was like nooooooo Khevin. I'm going to miss him, he's just too funny. I spent 45 minutes before class with him. He goes to the college next to mine now. I had Contemporary Narrative & it was long & some parts were ok & fun cuz it has to do with fiction & books, but other times it was like what are you talking about? Then right after I had Media Structures where my teacher has a booming voice lol. He seems like a good professor though so I'm ready haha :)
Tuesday: I went to school extra early to do my reading then at 12:30 I was going to meet Lyra, well I didn't meet her until 1:15 cuz she forgot about the time. I was like oh that's ok, happen to everyone. Then we went to the cafe, we started talking, catching up, & she spots her nursing friends & runs to talk to them for 10-20 minutes. I just sat at the table waiting for her to come back. She does then we talk for maybe 5 more minutes then she says oh I better go home now & leaves. She spent a total of what 20 minutes with me not even maybe 15. I was & still am pissed. No matter how many times she says sorry I don't care. I think she just left cuz she say her nursing friends leave & she wanted to be with them more.
Wednesday: My mini holiday. I cleaned the house & got the paper ready, but I couldn't leave the house. We were getting our roof done so they had a truck out by the garage to catch all the shingles, so I didn't get to it til 7 that night. I got to talking to a lot of people on my route. One of them being a girl I used to be friends with, her mom. She was happy that I was doing something & she seemed really happy to see me & catch up a bit. Other then that I read all day lol.
Thursday: I went to school early to pick up some textbooks from the library, the bad thing is I get them for 2 weeks & then I have to renew them so I can keep them for the whole semester. haven't tried it so I hope they don't tell me I can't renew them a bunch of times! Class was SO boring. I can't stand my film class. It's not really a "film" class, it's a documentary class. Yay, not. My prof barely speaks english so its hard to pay attention. I hate Thursdays. I also had my first breakdown of the semester, I know already! I just had all this reading to do & so little time, plus I had to do the paper on top of it. It stressed me out, but I'm ok now!
Friday: I had class in the morning. Well 11:45 lol. It's my earliest class which isn't bad. I had to buy the textbook for that class though :( It was 76$ Ugh. I am glad though I got to the bookstore before the big lineup, as I was leaving there was a line! I did my reading right before class. I had my actual professor this week & he's really nice, but he talks a lot about one thing so it drags on, like that class did. I talked to Lyra, though I wasn't really thrilled to after what happened on Tuesday, but it was ok.
Saturday: My parents went to the trailer for the day. I had to drive my brother to his friends house for a birthday party. His friend lives quite far. It took about a half hour to get there. We looked like a couple of old people trying to read the street signs, neither me nor him could read them from afar LOL. I spent the rest of the afternoon doing my readings for class & doing some research. Fun!
Sunday/today: Well I woke up kinda early, did some reading, then in the afternoon I went to the mall with my mom! Yay it was fun. We bought some clothes for my cousin's baby since her birthday is near, it's always fun buying baby clothes, THEY ARE SO CUTE! :D I also got a new pair of winter boots cuz I needed them :)
