Hi guys! Can you believe it's the end of November? November just flew! I don't even remember it! Now that this month is over all that is left is for me is to write my exams! Why couldn't it just be overrrr? I can't wait until the 10th then I'll be done my semester! Look at that! Where did the semester even go? Just yesterday I started school now I'm almost done my first semester, gosh I'll be done school soon, then the real world D:

Now I'll just get to everything I've read or listened to. It's not much this month. Though I managed to get 2 really big novels done surprisingly. So here we go.

Sleeping With Sirens- If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack: A five song EP that comes to you in the form of sweet, sweet music. The EP starts off with James Dean & Audrey Hepburn a beautiful song about love and Kellin Quinn is telling the girl he will never leave, and it’s okay you don’t have to change. The best song, the second song on the EP, Roger Rabbit is also about love, but more about loving yourself. Beautiful inspirational song, and it’s got an R&B edge too, which makes it such an easy listen. Stomach Tied in Knots is purely an acoustic track that is sweet like sugar. The whole EP is sweet as sugar. It pulls on your heartstrings and it shows Quinn’s soft side.

A Storm Of Swords By: George R.R. Martin: The third book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. This book you can’t tell whose going where, and what’s happening. This book is where the action was. Everyone dies, but they live, things change, but they stay the same. It’s a book that you do not want to miss if you have started the series. The best book in the series so far. Characters grow up and learn from their mistakes. Others just make more mistakes. Some characters loose body parts it’s all here in a Storm of Swords. Martin’s writing has gotten better from the first book, though he didn’t have to make the book 900 pages but it feels like it was very necessary at the same time!

The Hobbit By: J.R.R Tolkien: This is the story of a young Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who goes on this long adventure, it’s actually only a year, where he meets elves, hairy spiders, and dragons. It as an interesting story for children, though it could have gone into more detail about the battle instead of saying very vague things about it. It would have been better if it went into more detail about what happened during the battle. Though this is a children’s story it works perfectly to catch their attention and hold it for a good 300 pages. It’s all fantasy, which is cool; there are cool special things Bilbo can do so it’s fun to read!

Sleeping With Sirens- Let’s Cheers to This: The album starts off with Do It Now Remember It Later, a song that is highly driven by Quinn screaming, and the lyrics are catchy to gain your interest in the album. If You Can’t Hang has Quinn screaming twice as much as the first song. It’s a good song to listen to if you’re angry at something, or someone. Obviously this song is about a girl, but it can go either way when you sing the chorus. Who You Are Now is a sweeter and softer song. A Trophy Fathers Trophy Son is a song about an absente father, Quinn sings with such passion and the ups and downs of the song fit perfectly. Your Nickle Ain’t Worth My Dime is a quick fun sexy song. All My Heart is the cutest song on the album and is a heart melter. Mostly acoustic until the end but it’s perfectly set up, singing about the love of your life. The album closes with Let’s Cheer to This where it starts with a chant to scream, the sing is full of screaming & singing. Overall a very full and action packed album!
A Feast For Crows By: George R.R Martin: The fourth book in a Song of Ice and Fire series. We only get to see half of what the characters in the book are up to. We get the characters at Kings Landing and what is going on with the Queen and the King. Characters drift apart while others become closer. Things sort themselves out; while others get themselves into more trouble then they know what to do. This book isn’t as good as the third book, but it still has a lot that happens that you just crave for more. A lot of new characters are introduced in the beginning, but it helps the story move along, and we are starting to need some new characters if people keep dying. Overall a great continuation to the series. What have you guys been reading or listening to this month? :)
