Life Through Meghan: February: A Whole Lotta You
Hello everyone & welcome to yet another month of 2013. I can't believe we're down another month! This month went a little quicker, but it still seemed to go by slow lol. I continued with my courses, and things are just starting to pick up now. Now I feel like I have so much on my plate! D: I know I can do it because last semester was waaaay worse!
This month I got to hagngout with all of my friends! :D It's been great. I don't really know what else to tell you guys, this month was so short nothing very significant happened lol. Maybe I'll upload some cool photos I took :)

I was really really, REALLY obsessed with Pierce The Veil this month!

I found this photo on tumblr (I don't have an account, but I do go there to find amazing photos!) Love these PTV lyrics!

We got a lot of snow this month! The biggest snowfall here since 2008. Friday the school was closed. I haven't had a snow day since grade 9 (which was 2008 lol) That one (apparently it's a dove, but correct me if I'm wrong!) was looking at me! :)

A different perspective from my photo last week, it's a doorknob! :D

Last photo. Me taking photos when it was snowing after the big snow storm!
Now to the good stuff!

Atonement By: Ian McEwan: A novel broken into four parts is about a little 13-year-old girl named Briony who thinks what she see’s is what happens, and ends up putting an innocent man in jail. Throughout the years she tries to make up for it. The novel is written well and the reader can follow along throughout the parts, it’s not until the last part that takes place many, many years later that it’s a bit confusing. But the ending aside, the novel written in three different parts has the effect on the reader to know what is going on. It helps to separate what happens throughout the time span of the novel. Though many argue if that last part should have been included. It’s up to you to decide!

Save Haven By: Nicholas Sparks: Just like every other Sparks novel, we have a sob story turned into a happy ending. This book has the same feeling as his other novel The Lucky One. We have the abusive guy that the girl tries to get away from to start a new life. The book was filled with many clichés of the typical love story, and the typical girl running away. It was a cute story if you’re into novels that have happy endings, or the cute romance genre. Overall the novel was written well, minus the overall cliché of the whole novel.

Finale By: Becca Fitzpatrick: The final book in the hush, hush saga. We are thrown into the action of having fallen angels, archangels, and Nephilim all at war, and our main character Nora Gray has become the leader but she has to fight to show who’s side she’s on. It’s a story of war and triumph over the bad guys. It is also a love story between Nora and Patch who is a fallen angel, which makes things complicated. The novel ends well and it feels like how a series should end; you have no more questions left about it. It was cute, and a little sappy at parts but getting over those parts you have a great action novel.

Forever By: Maggie Stiefvater: The last book in the Shiver series. We come to the conclusion as to what happens to the wolves, as well as what happens to Sam and Grace, though the ending is uncertain about Grace. The reader has a sense of what will happen to her, but it’s not guaranteed. This book doesn’t feel like it’s the end of a series, but it feels like the beginning of one! You’re still left with many questions. The book had many details so you could picture everything happening in the story which was nice, but too many clichés were used, and you could see “once upon a time” used way too many times throughout this novel. Overall cute series, though the ending could have been done better to leave the reader less confused.

That Old Feeling EP By: A Rocket to the Moon: There is whole lotta good to this album, and some bad, let’s start with the good shall we? The EP starts with Whole Lotta You, which is a fun summer song that has cute lyrics, and lyrics you’ll find yourself singing. The next song Going Out has a country twang with the guitar. The chorus is fun, and uplifting, with an entertaining tempo. First Kiss is slower song and is told like a story, but it doesn’t leave behind those cute lyrics! The last song on the EP You’re My Song is a full out country song. This song doesn’t even sound like a Rocket to the Moon, but it fits in just the same! The bad thing about this EP is that it’s only four songs long!

Rapture By: Lauren Kate: The final book to the Fallen series. This is the book that ties up our story of fallen, and archangels. About Luce and Daniel and their love through many, many lives, and how it never dies. It’s the end where they chose Heaven or Hell. Where Luce remembers who she truly is in Heaven. It’s all very beautiful, though the author could have used less words, she got the point across in a certain amount of words, then added more for some unknown purpose. Aside from the rambling the author portrayed love in a beautiful way that was fresh to read, it’s sad to say this series is over, but it was a very beautiful series!
That's al for this month! What have you guys been reading or listening to? :)
